Eligible Applicants
Incoming freshmen or any full-time undergraduate student who has
had a parent lose his or her life as the result of a farm-related
injury. Preference will be given to Indiana residents.
Selection Criteria
- Quality of the application and need.

Varies. Recipients can apply for an annual renewal.

Application Info
Applicants should submit a letter of application (maximum of
2 pages) to: Scholarship Coordinator, 615 W State St., W Lafayette
IN 47907. The letter should include:
documentation of parent's
death due to a farm-related injury; statement of need; statement
of how funds will be used.
Sponsor
The endowment was established in memory of Dick Willsey, a former
Purdue Agricultural Safety and Health Specialist. Dr. Bill Field,
Professor of Agricultural and Biological Engineering was instrumental
in establishing this scholarship.
